recently, multiple railway projects with casco’s participation successively went into operation.
hanzhong-bazhong-nanchong high-speed railway
on june 27th, hanzhong-bazhong-nanchong high-speed railway, in which casco participated, was officially opened. the railway connects hanzhong city in shaanxi province with bazhong city and nanchong city in sichuan province, with a total length of 147 km and six stations along the main line. casco provided the train control center system, centralized signaling monitoring system, and temporary speed restriction server for the project. the opening of this railway is of great significance in opening up a convenient channel between the chengdu plain economic zone and the northeast sichuan economic zone, improving the layout of the intercity railway network, addressing weaknesses in railway infrastructure, and boosting economic development in the old revolutionary base area.
lanzhou-zhangye high-speed railway (zhongchuan airport to wuwei section) and zhongchuan airport loop railway
on june 29th, the zhongchuan airport to wuwei section of the lanzhou-zhangye high-speed railway and the zhongchuan airport loop railway, both of which casco participated in, were simultaneously opened.
the newly constructed section of the lanzhou-zhangye high-speed railway from zhongchuan airport to wuwei is 194.2 km long with 5 stations and shilakou depot. it starts from zhongchuan airport station on the existing zhongchuan intercity railway, passes through yongdeng county in lanzhou city, tianzhu county and gulang county in wuwei city, and finally reaches downtown wuwei.
the newly constructed zhongchuan airport loop railway is 14.2 km long. it starts from the existing lanzhou new area station on the zhongchuan intercity railway, heads northeast to airport east station via t3 terminal, then northwest to zhoujialiang depot, and finally connects with zhongchuan airport station on the zhongchuan intercity railway and shilakou depot on the lanzhou-wuwei high-speed railway.
this project traverses the golden corridor of the ancient silk road – the hexi corridor. as the core east-west supporting line of gansu province's rapid passenger transport network, casco has crafted the fzk-ctc3.0 centralized traffic control system and centralized signaling monitoring system for this project, injecting strong momentum into the development of northwest china through efficient and smooth transportation arteries, and promoting the economic prosperity and revitalization of regions along the ancient silk road.
