on june 28th, after attending the national science and technology conference, the national science and technology awards conference, and the academies conference, guan xiaohong, academician of the chinese academy of sciences and director of the school of telecommunications engineering, xi'an jiaotong university, led an expert team to casco for research and guidance. during the visit, casco and the school of telecommunications engineering, xi'an jiaotong university, signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish a joint technology innovation center with academician guan xiaohong appointed as the chief scientist, in order to deepen industry-university-research cooperation, continuously enhance casco's independent innovation, implement president xi jinping's important exposition on scientific and technological innovation with pragmatic measures, and promote high-quality development through high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement.
academician guan xiaohong stated that casco, as a leading enterprise in the field of rail transit signaling, emphasizes technological innovation, exhibits robust innovation vitality, and actively promotes the digitization, intellectualization, and greening of rail transit. this aligns well with the development trends of information technology, featuring networking, intelligence, and cyber-physical integration, and meets the requirements of developing new productive forces. the school of telecommunications engineering, xi'an jiaotong university, has advantages in basic research and research on universal and wide-ranging key technologies. the two parties have broad cooperation prospects in areas such as informatization and industrialization integration, cyber security, green information communication, fault detection, image processing, and intelligent recognition. it is hoped that both sides will use the joint technology innovation center as a platform to further deepen cooperation, combine strengths, and complement advantages, making more contributions to the development of china's rail transit industry.
